Title: QA Engineer

Describe your role: As a QA Engineer at Camber Creative, I work on creating and executing manual test cases to make sure the products that we design for our clients are working appropriately. When working on QA for a project, I first create a test plan. I then execute positive and negative test cases. Finally, I develop a bug report to present our development team with the issues that still need to be addressed to optimize product functionality.

‍Where are you located? I live in Orlando, Florida!

What did you study? I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

What do you like best about working at Camber? I love the work environment at Camber. I specifically appreciate the company’s ability to manage projects efficiently in an asynchronous-first remote environment.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself: I am from Cuba. I lived with my mom and dad in a town for many years. I enjoyed the countryside and the animals when I was a kid. I helped my father to cultivate tobacco. I miss my childhood :(

What are you passionate about? I love to read and write stories! I love to travel and make up stories in my head about the places I visit :)

What types of projects did you work on before finding Camber? Before joining the Camber team, I did QA for an online travel agency. Within the same company, I was a part time .Net developer. I also worked for an Ecuadorian company creating and executing automated testing for the QA of a web application to manage restaurants.
